The reaction the Jordanians are having towards the suicide bombings are quite interesting. Are we seeing the start of an Islamic eye-opening, where a majority of normal non-fundamentalist Muslims actively speak out this sort of thing?
Sure, various religous and political leaders have condemned terrorist bombings, but that never means much. It seems to me that only when the average man (and woman!) in the street speaks out will mass public opinion change. Perhaps then, ordinary people might think twice before going down that long road towards a suicide bomb.
